General space news

  • Martin started a discussion about maintaining the space. [1]
  • Discussion about members boxes took place, members should avoid keeping boxes if they have nothing in them and these may be repossessed in the future. [2] [3]
  • Mark posted a request for comment regarding Babbage upgrading. [4]

Equipment

  • The 3-in-1 lathe is currently out of action due to the lathe motor becoming defective. [5]
  • A Britannia Lathe was rescued from the Crystal Palace site as is currently being reconditioned. [6]

Upcoming events

  • This Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th is the Nanode weekend.
  • Next Wednesday 8th is the weekly catchup of the biohacking group from 19:30 - 20:30.
  • Peter would like to know if anyone is interested in an open rail data hacking session. [9]

Projects

  • The final Nanode pledge has been reached, and the assembly weekend is this Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th. [10] [11] [12] [13]
