Plans and costs for kitting out the lab

Already spent

Paint + painting equipment, filler - ~£150

Plumbing

We need:

  • Pipe installed from water supply upstairs down to lab
  • Pipe installed from lab to pump, and from pump to drain
  • The pump itself
  • Sink

Cost:

  • ~£400 for pump

Benches

  • Tom looked at Ikea:

This is a possible option for the workbench. The surface is made of melamine: I checked on the web to understand if it is suitable for a lab like ours and it looks ok but I'm not 100% sure. The size is 220 cm and it costs £30 each, (the room is long 446 cm)
