| A light trance, a deep trance, miles-away, day-dreaming,..

| We go into trances while reading a book, watching television, going for walks, driving vehicles, and many times a day naturally.

| Now the concept trance, sounds pretty much like when someone isn't paying any attention and their mind is off somewhere else but that doesn't include every aspect of what a trance is nor does the word trance really sum things up very well.

| Perhaps it's better to understand this as simply, a state. One might call it an altered state, one that deviates from normal experience when walking around and functioning during your day, but the truth is that too is a state.. We simple switch from one state, to another, we are never 'not in a state'.

| Laughter, produces an 'altered state'.. a different state to what crying might, or the feeling you get from alchhol or relaxing in bed.

| A trance is a state.
| |
| A state is simply an experience.
| |
| An experience is whatever you happen to be feeling at any given moment.
