I'll be showing my mechanical step sequencer and a couple of modified / circuit bent devices. As I have thus far appoached my instrument designing from a hobbiest perspective I havent, until recently, questioned what weighting different factors (ergnomics, aestheic, conceptual) have in my self imposed design specification... that said I think central concerns, and things I would be keen to discuss include : elegance of economy, repurposing and hacking, lofi and hifi aesthetics, why boxes bristling with knobs and switches are so damn appealing. link to my projects: http://mpanimation.blogspot.com/ | I'll be showing my mechanical step sequencer and a couple of modified / circuit bent devices.
