I like the idea of using Cinder to generate the graphics using a particle system for snow and some other methods for baubles and tinsel and similar. Locations
We need a list of good locations
Camera Crew
People with good cameras filming the whole thing will be needed. Stills and video please
The Face
We need someone who is charming and fun to grab people off the street to take part in this and act as the face of the project. Any takers?
Jonty, obviously.
Places to get Gear From
From Ben Reyes:
- Optoma EP78l projector( 4500lumens, XGA, DLp). The highest Lumen, lowest cost projector I could find. At around £50 per day rental (rented from projectorpoint.co.uk )
- 750 watt generator, portable generator from HSS hire (http://www.hss.com/g/41101/Generators-625w-To-750w-Petrol.html) £30 for the weekend, £48 for the whole week. Enough to power laptop, projector and speakers. I also watched Family Guy with this thing on but fairly noisy that being in a quiet neighborhood at 1am would draw a little bit of attention. Just make sure you use a surge protector.
