Microsoft have released a new controller that can follow you around the room, and therefore we must have one.
The depth information has already been reverse engineered, thanks to a bounty from Adafruit.
- Colour VGA Motion Camera: 640x480 pixel resolution @30FPS
- Depth Camera: 640x480 pixel resolution @30FPS
- Array of 4 microphones supporting single speaker voice recognition
Games on the XBOX 360 can use body and voice recognition for game control.
There is apparently also a custom processor that does the skeletal tracking for you. This hasn't been open sourced yet.
