In London

  • Brixton tinkerspace general meeting. Saturday 13th of april at the dogstar pub, 4:30pm. Everyone serious about a south of the river hackspace please attend.
  • Hackday for Accessible Music - On Sunday 21st April Drake Music will run a hackday to create and share new instruments that break down disabling barriers to music making. Run in partnership with Furtherfield and Music Hackspace.
  • Hardware Freedom Day will take place on April 20th 2013 all over the world. For London: Chip Hack from 10am to 4pm with an Introduction to FPGA Programming with 2 days of workshops.
  • Smart City Talks - four free public talks at Deptford Lounge and Goldsmiths College on 18 & 25 April, and 9 & 16 May looking at how to become a smart citizen in a smart city.
  • Infosec Security expo. 23-25th April, Earls Court.
  • BsidesLondon13 community driven free security conference. April 24th, Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall.
  • MCM Expo Movies, Comics and Media. Excel, 24-26 May.
  • Elephant and Castle Mini Maker Faire 6th July at LCC, Free event, deadline for Call for Makers 14th April
  • Hacked.io A hack day at the dome. 20th and 21st of July. Seems to have no specific focus at this point, presumably people will turn up and work on whatever they want? Ticket cost not yet announced.
  • Nineworlds Geekfest 9–11 August, Heathrow.
  • Plasa Sound and light trade show at the ExCel center. 6-8October
  • RISC OS Show 26th October.
