Web developer for off-grid.net

Currently in WordPress and with a bunch of features such as google maps mashup at landbuddy.com but now wanting to move to fully social web site plus a wiki, basic how-to manual and improved usability , and user ratings of stories and other users.

Should I stick to Wordpress or upgrade to Expression Engine or similar?

Appropriate budget for experienced team.
