Using the Kill Bin

1. Purpose
This describes the protocol for use of the Kill Bin, which is a beach-filled container used for the inactivation and disposal of biological waste and lab equipment which may have become biologically contaminated.

7.1 Refilling the Kill Bin
The bin should contain a mixture of 60% bleach and 40% water.
