31/3 2011 a number of PCs were rescued from a workspace across the road.
Most of them are up for grabs, 1 or 2 may be repurposed for the Hackspace. If you would like one, please put your name next to it on the inventory list.
Dell Dimension:
- 4x 2400
- 1x 2300
- 1x 2350
- 2x 4550
- 1x 8100
- 1x 5000
Dell Optiplex:
- 1x GX260
- 1x GX240
Other PC towers:
- 2x generic, beige.
Preferably whole machines should be reused, rather than making a box unusable by stripping it e.g. for memory.
On Monday 4 April any unclaimed machines will be taken to charity, probably either Computer Aid, Forest Recycling Centre or Eco computer systems.
