We are looking at purchasing a new Angle Grinder for the space. Pledge opened: 20 December 2013

A 230 volt 110mm angle grinder and a selection of cutting wheels, and suitable gloves

Like:

Might be better to get one that releases the power switch on power loss
Damn near impossible to find a type 1 guard for the above and if you can, it costs more than the grinder

The space had 2 angle grinders, one died and the other went walkabout.
A loaner grinder mishap, caused perhaps by an intermittent switch recently caused a multiple stitch injury.
BE CAREFUL WITH ALL POWER TOOLS!
So we need a new one. (and gloves)
