Hello, my name is Ariel and I love this Music Hack Space

I'm interested in hacking traditional instruments.

As far as the musical personal bits go, the first instrument I learned is vocal percussion, and I've been playing around with voice, bass and electroacoustic guitars for years.

COLLABORATIONS: If you think I'm harming ears and you don't want me harming plants, drop me a line and we can work something out: I'm open to collaborations! I am mainly looking for vocalists, percussionists, lyricists, idealists, people who like recording stuff, and other good-natured freaks of nature. Please drop me a line, and if you're in London let's meet!

I can also make music for films: Check out this short film.

AUGMENTED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS! My Master's project at UCL consisted in designing and building a device that can turn objects into musical instruments. All objects make sounds when they are struck, but most of the sounds most objects make are too dull and unvaried to be musically used. I am working on hardware and software that can show you how to make musical sense out of any physical object.

I have a working prototype and am looking for testers. If you're based in London, get in touch.
