Check coolant levels preferably before the coolant pump stops pumping. If it reaches that point, the reservoir can take a little over ~20L of 5% coolant diluted down with tap water: measuring jug & funnel can be found in the cupboard.

==Headstock Lubrication==
The headstock is lubricated with ISO VG 37 Hydraulic Oil (originally specified as Shell Tellus T 37). We are currently using BP Energol HLP-HM 32 (green can stored in the machine shop).
The level indicator is in the back of the headstock and not easily accessible, but there is a bubble indicator next the chuck where you should see oil flowing - if not it likely needs a top up.
==Carriage Lubrication==
The carriage gearbox uses ISO VGT 68 slideway oil. Because of the automatic oilers this is used up frequently and will need regular topping up.
The level indicator is down and to the left hand side of the carriage
