I am giving away for FREE a non- functioning imac, It dates from 2008.

Here are the basic specs:

 Processor2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

  Memory1GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 1x1GB- I think I upgraded this but can't remember.  Optical DriveSuperDrive 8x DL

I suspect the hard drive is the problem and in exchange for taking it I would ask you to help me remove it for the mac so I can physically destroy it, as it used to contain confidential info and I need to be sure it's not salvageable. I don't guarantee that will fix it but it might be a good project for someone with more knowledge than me and I need it out of my space. I won't take it back once you have it, it's "sold as seen", except that it's FREE!
