Firstly, link your account on the London Hackspace website. This will give you administrator rights on the wiki, allowing you to block users. Then log in on the wiki.
If the page has always been spam:
- Hit Delete at the top of the page.
- Set the appropriate reason (usually Vandalism)
- Then click "View or restore X deleted edits"
- Identify the user who last created the article, and click block by their name (make sure you don't block someone who attempted to clear the page)
- Block them with an infinite expiry for an appropriate reason
If the page used to be good:
- Click History
- Click rollback on the last edit - this will delete all edits by that user
- If it won't roll back, check the recent changes and undo them, or ask on IRC for someone else to do it.
- Click History again
- Identify the spamming user, and click block by their name (make sure you don't block someone who attempted to clear the page)
- Block them with an infinite expiry for an appropriate reason
Finally, take care not to block Sex typing with amelogenin, no matter how much it sets off your spidey spam senses.
