We're looking into purchasing a quality medium format scanner.
The item
There are two families of scanners - dedicated film scanners (very pricey, and often - no longer manufactured), and flatbed scanners (cheaper). I've found a model suitable for our use from Epson, the discontinued Epson V700 which can be acquired from eBay for around £300.
Uses
- Scanning 35mm film
- Scanning 120 film (medium format)
- Scanning even larger negatives
- Scanning photos
Pledges
I think we need to raise ca £300 to secure a used unit with any surplus going towards getting a copy of VueScan software, and any remaining money going towards consumables for the darkroom.
