The mouse is optical and has a scrollwheel; the keyboard has that flat-button style that Apple keyboards have these days. It's a little smaller than standard, but not as small as a laptop keyboard. Both are USB devices.

| I haven't managed to get it to work properly - the seeds either sprouted and died after about a week of growing, or just rotted away. If you feel like you have a greener thumb or would like to play around with the insides (there's a small pump, water sprayer, etc.) I'd be happy to get rid of it for £15, or if you can think of a super awesome project that could use it but don't have much cash let me know your idea and if it's awesome enough I'll probably just give it to you :-) Alternately, if you can work out why my attempts at growing basil and spinach have failed so badly that'd be pretty awesome. Alter-alternately, if you want to set it up for the hackspace to grow things inside (and maintain it), have it for free!
