The old Ujima planer was unsuitable for the new location, and our the interim machine loaned by Toby was burned out by the constant use of LHS. To get a more substantial machine that would stand up to our level of use it was clear we would have to buy second hand. A good machine - the Planer Thicknesser (Charnwood W583) - was found on facebook marketplace. To secure it quickly a member bought it on their personal card, but it's only fair that we all chip in to get them repaid!
