In UK

  • Blackpool radio rally 10th of April. Norbreck Castle hotel on Blackpool seafront. One of the biggest UK radio rallys. Parts, cable, junk. Radio's from new Japanese black box's to cheap ex-PMR stuff. Potential for a weekend away if you don't mind Blackpool and mildly grotty B&B's.
  • NDARS radio boot sale 19th June. Huge amounts of cheap electronics bits and bobs and junk. Great day out provided it does not rain too much. Half a dozen hackspace people usually attend. It's a couple of hundred temporary tables in a field. Be there at opening time to get the bargains. Potential to organise lift sharing among people travelling from London (try asking User:Ajp or the mailing list).

In London

  • London Model Engineering Exhibition 21-23 January 2011. For those interested in the engineering side of things. A good place to pick up tools, parts, and materials. Usually focused on steam, rockets, indoor flying, and exceptionally detailed models built from scratch.
  • Kinetica Art Fair 4-6 February 2011
