- 3V 2032 Li coin cell batteries from almost anywhere (Homebase was more expensive than the local Post Office)
- guitar string (high E, custom guage 9) from Folkies Music
- 1.6mm OD copper tubing from 4D modelshop
- pipe cleaners and craft glue dots from London Art
- conductive tape from Farnell
