London Hackspace news for 31 march- 7th april

General space news

  • An effort is being made to get a load of stuff of dubious utility out of the dirty room. Please remove any junk you have dumped there that won't be actively used soon.
  • Please could anyone who has taken a parking permit return them as soon as possible. [1]

  • Samthetechie and the guy with the robotics society shirt are building repraps.
  • The pledge to buy an expensive high-security bike chain has been dormant for a while so an alternative plan using whatever is lying around is in the works. AJP made a start on welding lengths of chain to a bit of scaffolding pole. Waiting for bigger welding rods.
  • A vacuum tube audio amplifier is being built in the space
