Upcoming

In London

  • Maxwell's equations Friday 1st Nov Crystal Palace radio and electronics club. So basically light and radio waves are an electric field and a magnetic field polarised at 90degrees to each other, the changing mag field produces an electric field, the changing electric field produces a magnetic field so the pair of them disappear off into the distance at the speed of light and beyond that the maths and physics are incomprehensible to most people. Perhaps this lecture will make it all clear
  • Young rewired state 2nd of November. Event for under-18 software developers
  • ccthenr Code Poetry Workshop Thursday 7th of November: 18h30 - 21h30 Lead by Renee Carmichael, This workshop will treat the logic of coding, rather than the specifics of its language, through the lens of narrative and poetry. How, through exploration and creation instead of demonstration, can we learn to take control of the devices that we use everyday? Throughout the workshop, participants will be able to create code that is immediately readable as poetry, which also compiles or is executable.
