Got Kit Need Advice

I've got a cycler, electrophoresis tank, spectrophotometer and other bits and bobs. I don't understand how to choose primers.

broader remit

I don't like to limit myself to molecular and synthetic biology, I like general biological and microbial hardware and equipment hacking as well.
