==About me==
==About me==
I studied Materials Science in the University of Oxford and graduated in 2011. I'm currently working at a school in north west London as a lab technician. I think I'm really good at finding out why something isn't working and how to fix it. I love science and constantly learning something new. My brain sometimes forgets to turn off and I'm constantly coming up with new inventions (at the moment still on paper) and I hope with the hack space I'll be able to make some of these a reality.
I studied Materials Science in the University of Oxford and graduated in 2011. I've previously worked at a school as a high-school lab technician. I'm currently exploring ways in which my talents and interests in making can earn me a living.
I want to hone my design and manufacturing skills and produce new and innovative products people will buy.

==Some things I want to make==
===Physically moving displays for increased resolution===
This is a concept I would like to test out. The idea is that a low resolution array of pixels like that in a led matrix can be physically shifted in the x and y directions by an amount 1/2 of the distance between the led. The display will need a faster refresh rate but this could quadruple the resolution of the initial display. I am investigating different mechanical methods to shift the screen in the two axis and I think it might be doable with this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5ZwxzSrrO0&safe=active mechanism]. If you're interested in this concept tell me on my twitter.
