An Arduino workshop in progress

Information for our introductory workshops on Arduinos

Tickets

Tickets were £100 for non-members and £80 for members. Both tickets included a Arduino Uno starter kit courtesy of Earthshine Electronics.

When?

This workshop took place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23th of January 2011.

Where?

Laboratory 24.

What?

A Beginners Arduino workshop.

  • Installation
  • SECTION A - LEDS
    • Project 1 – LED Flasher
    • Project 2 – Interactive Traffic Lights
    • Project 3 – Interactive Chase Effect
    • Project 4 – RGB Mood Lamp
    • Project 5 – Serial Controlled Mood Lamp
  • Short Break
  • SECTION B – SOUNDS & SENSORS
    • Project 6 – Piezo Sounder Alarm
    • Project 7 – Light Sensor
    • Project 8 – Temperature Sensor
  • Lunch (Around 1pm)
  • SECTION C – SHIFT REGISTERS
    • Project 9 – Binary Counter

Obviously this is flexible depending how quickly/slowly we get through the content. Section D may be on Day 2 if we can't fit it on Day 1.
