This machine is used for pyrography (such as wood/leather burning).
To use, make sure you're working in a well ventilated area. Don't use pine (too resinous), MDF (possibly toxic fumes), non-vegetable-dyed leather (risk of chromium fumes from chromium tanning solution). Preferably work on a heat-protected surface.
Set dial to 0 on the machine. Plug it in. Turn on switch. Very slowly and patiently wait for it to heat up when you turn the dial. I've found 1 to 1.5 is fine for leather pyrography. You don't want to go too high or else you'll just scorch the surface and possibly catch fire.
