London Hackspace news for 31st March- 7th April 2011.
General space news
- An effort is being made to tidy and clear out the dirty shop which has become very messy recently. [1] [2]
- The new router has been installed, this will hopefully improve the stability of our network considerably. [3]
- We are looking for an electrician that would be able to inspect the installation of the kitchen wiring and answer some questions. [4]

- The 3-in-1 Lathe Milling Machine is still being set up.
- FTDI have sent us a USB development kit. [5]
Projects
- The pledge to buy an expensive high-security bike chain has been dormant for a while so an alternative plan using whatever is lying around is in the works. AJP made a start on welding lengths of chain to a bit of scaffolding pole. Waiting for bigger welding rods.
- A pledge has been started to order some Nanode boards as a group. [6]
- The Young Hackspace project are preparing their next event, based on making electronic music and the physics of sounds. [7]
