At this fortnight's event, we will be having a team competition based on the UKMT Team Mathematics Challenge. Either come along as a team of four, or just turn up and make a team.

There will be three rounds:

Group Round

Each team is given 10 questions. 6 points for each one they can answer correctly in time.

Crossnumber

Each team splits into two parts. One part is given the down clues to a crossnumber, the other is given the across clues.

Relay

Teams divide into two parts to solve a four mathematical problems in 8 minutes. The solution to the first problem is required to solve the second problem and so on.

There will be cake to keep everyone happy during the competition and there will be prizes for the winning team. The competition will start at around 7pm.

Future events

All talks listed here are provisional. If you would like to give a talk of suggest a non-talks event, please add it to a date here. For questions and discussion, use our mailing list.
