What?

Our north east corner is currently a mix weeds and rubbish, however we have no decent space to sit down and have a cuppa. This group project aims to create a raised bed garden with a trellis that would help us escape the concrete jungle for a few minutes. The total cost of building the raised bed garden in the hackspace carpark is £575.

Moar Details

We plan to

1. build a veranda
2. build 2 raised beds
3. a deadline for the project to be completed in 6 weeks which is a realistic and reasonable time so that when the soil arrives we can place it inside.

Rough costs :

• veranda £308 - using reclaimed wood
• raised beds are £267 (This includes all the materials needed to build it. The only thing is missing is the bolts to put the supports into the ground)
• 11 tonnes of soil is £0 (can get order 15 tonnes from the council which arrives in 6 weeks)
