Description

A solid linear british-made Farnell power supply for more demanding jobs. 30V 10A / 70V 5A

Status

Working. probably.

  • Replaced shorted output transistor and about 6 others
  • Roughly working. Output controllable. Not thoroughly tested.
  • I broke an output terminal

ToDo

  • Soak test
  • Replace output terminals (replacements need trags redrilling - WIP)
  • Place in usable location (maybe under the solder oven, on a stand, with nice long thick DC leads added).

Notes

  • Side panels were sourced cut-to-size from ebay seller sgs132 for about £13 total. These are stainless, aluminium woud have been a couple of pounds cheaper.
