General space news

• A reminder not to leave boxes out or underneath desks. [1]

• Tom, Clare, and Will have organised the library. [2]

Equipment

• Phil has loaned a machine vice to the workshop. [3]

• A lab extractor has been won on eBay. [4]

• Elliot has purchased a timer for the PCB fabrication station. [5]

Upcoming events

• This Thursday 19th will be the One Click Orgs hack evening from 19:30-23:00. [6]

• On Saturday 21st the second web hacking workshop from 13:00 - 17:00. This is preceded by a re-run of the first workshop from 10:30 - 12:30.

• The third Young Hackspace event is being held this Sunday 22nd from 14:00 - 16:30 (please note that this event requires advanced registration).

• Next Wednesday 25th is the weekly catchup of the biohacking group from 19:30 - 20:30.

• A Nanode building weekend has been organised for Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June. [7] [8] [9]

• Tom has organised a Redsands Sea Fort Visit for June 19th, however all the spaces are currently taken.

• Tom has organised a Miracle Fruit Party, however all the spaces are currently taken. [10]

• Another Hypnosis 101 workshop is being planned. [11]

• A new mailing list has been opened for the Open Laser Tag project. [12]

• The components for the Nanodes project has arrived and the first board has been built successfully. [13]
