General space news

  • A reminder not to leave boxes out or underneath desks. [1]
  • Tom, Clare, and Will have organised the library. [2]

Equipment

  • Phil has loaned a machine vice to the workshop. [3]
  • A lab extractor has been won on eBay. [4]

Upcoming events

  • On Saturday 21st the second web hacking workshop from 13:00 - 17:00. This is preceded by a re-run of the first workshop from 10:30 - 12:30.
  • The third Young Hackspace event is being held this Sunday 22nd from 14:00 - 16:30 (please note that this event requires advanced registration).
  • Next Wednesday 25th is the weekly catchup of the biohacking group from 19:30 - 20:30.
  • A Nanode building weekend has been organised for Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June. [7] [8] [9]
  • Tom has organised a free beer evening, however all the spaces are currently taken.
  • Tom has organised a hentai party, however all the spaces are currently taken.

Projects

  • The components for the Nanodes project has arrived and the first board has been built successfully. [13]
